Tunnel of Light

A collection of stories narrating the human experiences of Syrians from 2011 to the present day. Several aspects converge into one story narrating what happened in Syria, explaining how escaping homeland in search of safety, living in tents, and clinging to life under the rubble, the joy of reaching dry land after battling sea waves, death barrels, and checkpoints, hunger and imprisonment, and the shadows of torment in a homeland that no longer resembles itself. Many images, in a rich language and delicate expression, have been presented as a scream of resistance recounting tales of pain, yet they trust that a ray of light will be seen, even if after a while.
